A television series that spotlights emergency responders in natural disasters will spotlight the work following March’s deadly tornado in Lee County.
“Hearts of Heroes,” an educational documentary series, will air an episode dealing with the March 3 Beauregard tornado Saturday at 9 a.m. on ABC stations. The show is co-produced by BELFOR Property Restoration, ABC and Litton Entertainment.
A deadly EF-4 tornado ravaged the Lee County town of Beauregard on March 3, leaving 23 people dead, dozens injured, and many homeless. The disaster was also the focus of a holiday program filmed last month for the Hallmark Channel that aired Dec. 10.
